Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy is written in plain language on purpose. If something is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
1.Who we are
We are SMBGrowth, LLC, doing business as Tango Advisor Marketing and Tango ("Tango," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, United States, with its registered office at 30 N Gould St Ste 7001, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website at tangomarketing.co and its subdomains, our contact and booking forms, our webinar registration pages, the review pages and client portals we provide to clients, and the marketing services we deliver for clients (together, the "Services").
By using the Services you agree to this Privacy Policy. It is incorporated into our Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2.The three groups of people this policy covers
We handle personal information about three groups, and the rules differ a little for each.
Visitors and prospective clients. People who browse the site, fill in a form, book a consultation or register for a webinar.
Clients and their teams. Financial advisors and firms who hire us, along with the staff and compliance contacts who work with us on their behalf.
People our clients reach. The prospects our clients contact through the campaigns we run for them. For this group we act on the client's instructions, and the client decides who is contacted and why.
3.Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in a form, book a call, register for a webinar or email us, we collect what you enter: typically your name, email address, phone number, firm name, role, and anything you write in a message field. When you book a consultation we also collect the time you choose.
Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site our hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, the page that referred you, and the approximate region you are visiting from. We use a privacy-focused analytics service that reports visits in aggregate. Some pages store a small setting in your browser so that the version of a page you first saw stays consistent on later visits. That setting does not identify you.
Information from clients. To deliver the Services we collect from clients the material we need to do the work: contact and business details, positioning and branding information, logos and photographs, access to the marketing accounts we manage on their behalf, and the content they ask us to publish.
Approvals and signatures. When an advisor or compliance reviewer approves content on one of our review pages, we record the name and email address typed into the approval form, the date and time, and the IP address and browser used. This record is the electronic signature described in our Terms and Conditions, and we keep it as evidence that the approval happened.
Information about people our clients reach. To run campaigns we assemble lists of business contacts that match the audience a client selects. This information comes from publicly available professional sources, from licensed business data providers, and from the client's own records. It is business contact information: name, title, employer, work email address, business phone number, and professional profile links. We do not collect financial account information, government identifiers, or sensitive personal information about these people.
4.How we use information
We use personal information to:
Respond to your enquiry, book and hold your consultation, and send you the webinar or resource you asked for.
Deliver the Services to clients, including building and running campaigns, writing and publishing content, managing marketing accounts, organizing replies and leads, and producing reports.
Send marketing emails about our services to prospective clients who have asked to hear from us or whose business details we have obtained in the ordinary course of business. Every marketing email we send includes a way to opt out.
Keep records of approvals, agreements and communications.
Understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
Protect the Services, enforce our terms, and comply with the law.
We do not use personal information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
5.Campaigns we run for clients
When we run outreach for a client, the messages are sent in the client's name and the client approves every message before it goes out. The people contacted can decline further contact at any time by replying to the message or using the opt-out link in an email, and we honor those requests across the campaign. Replies and contact details are delivered to the client's own CRM and belong to the client.
We keep campaign volumes inside the limits set by the platforms we use and we do not send anything we would consider spam. If you have received a message from one of our clients and want to know more, you can contact us at the address in the Contact section below and we will help.
6.Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Service providers. We use other companies to run the Services, and they process personal information on our instructions: our CRM, form and calendar platform, our website hosting and analytics provider, our database and email delivery providers, the LinkedIn and email outreach tools we use to run campaigns, business data providers we license contact information from, and AI writing tools we use to draft content. These providers are bound by contracts that restrict them to processing data for us.
Clients. Replies, leads and approval records generated in a client's campaign are shared with that client, because the work is done on their behalf.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.
7.Cookies and similar tools
Our own pages set no advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics service does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. The forms and calendars embedded on our pages are provided by our CRM platform and may set cookies needed for the form or booking to work. As noted above, some pages store a small setting in your browser to keep the version of the page consistent between visits. You can clear that setting at any time by clearing your browser's site data for our site.
8.How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as we need them to follow up and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep client records for the length of the engagement and as long as needed afterward to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We keep approval records for as long as the approved content remains in use and for the period the client's compliance requirements call for. We keep campaign contact lists for the life of the campaign and delete or archive them when the campaign ends, unless the client asks us to keep them. We may keep aggregated or anonymized information indefinitely.
9.Security
We protect personal information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information with us has been compromised, please contact us right away.
10.Where information is stored
The Services are hosted in the United States. If you access the Services from a region with privacy laws that differ from United States law, you are transferring your information to the United States and consenting to its processing there.
11.Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. To do so, email us at the address in the Contact section. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows and we may ask you to verify your identity first.
You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We may still send you emails needed to deliver the Services or to respond to you.
If you are a prospect contacted through one of our clients' campaigns, you can decline further contact by replying to the message. You can also contact us and we will pass your request to the client and update our records.
12.California residents
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. To exercise your rights, contact us at the address below. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request for you, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.
13.Children
The Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will take additional steps to let you know, such as an email to clients. Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
